Traverse the Twin Cities
Visit Downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul
Continue your tour of downtown Minneapolis with a exploration of the Foshay Museum, opened in 1929 and part of the Foshay Tower – both are found on the National Registser of Historic Places.
The museum features an observation deck that yields excellent views of the city. Travel to the 30th floor and check out the view – it’s a fun way to spend a few hours before lunch. Make the trip in from Saint Cloud or Eagan.
Head east less than 20 minutes and you’re in St. Paul. Explore the downtown area of St. Paul with a visit to the Como Park Zoo & Conservatory, or relax with a nice picnic at Cherokee Park.
For a bit of historical perspective on downtown St. Paul, be sure to tour the Alexander Ramsey House, former home of the first governor of Minnesota, Alexander Ramsey. Make the drive in from Burnsville, Chaska, or Coon Rapids and explore all the wonders downtown St. Paul has to offer.
