Visiting Minnesota

Though Minnesota offers it’s visitors a wide range of excellent and can’t-miss attractions ideal during all seasons, it’s the late summer and early fall that yield the most memorable experiences. Plan your next visit to the Land of 10,000 Lakes and check out all you can – from the far north and Grand Marais to Fergus Falls along Interstate 94, and even down south in Red Wing with it’s unparalleled views of the Mississippi River. Make Minnesota your next vacation destination.

Found in the northern region of the state, Duluth is a welcoming city, with sterling attractions, and a wide range of outdoor recreation thanks to it’s position along Lake Superior. Enjoy a fun road trip while in Duluth, as you check out the North Shore Drive along Highway 61.

Be sure to be in Duluth on August 6th for one of the city’s premier events – the 2nd Annual City on the Hill Music Fest. This one day music-filled celebration takes place at Bayfront Festival Park, and it all kicks off at 1 p.m

Just over a month later in Duluth, you can keep the music going strong as the Make America Rock Again Tour comes through town. On September 8th, make your way to the Duluth Heritage Sports Center near downtown for this hard rock showcase. It’s a 21 and over show, and you’ll see the likes of Saving Abel, Alien Ant Farm, Trapt, and more.

If your visit to Minnesota has you in Bemidji in mid-August, you’re in luck. The Beltrami County Fair should be just the ticket for you the family to make the most of your time in Bemidji. August 10th through 14th, the Beltrami County Fair treats guests to a wide range of rides, games, agricultural expos, classic fair food, and more, all at the Beltrami County Fairgrounds.

Make your way to the south of Minnesota and check out Albert Lea. This warm and welcoming city is found at the intersection of Interstate 35 and Interstate 90. Visit over the Labor Day weekend and check out the Labor Day Ski Show at Edgewater Bay. And on September 24th, keep the summer fun alive when you watch the raw power of the UMPBA Power Boat Races on the same Edgewater Bay.
